About Us
We are a small hobby kennel located in Memphis Tn. We fell in love with the
Boerboel while searching the net for large German Shepherds. We stumble on
to this breed and had to go and see one in the flesh. We contacted a few locale
breeders and the rest is history. Our goal is to breed healthy, strong and loving
companions. We test each dog before it is bred and if they don't meet our
standards we don't breed the dog. Our dogs have 5.5 acres to stretch their legs
and a nice size pond to cool off in when they are finished chasing the deer and
rabbits. WE believe in plenty of exercise. There are currently eight boerboels
here at blues city. The dogs are very well socialized with visitors as well as my
extended family (The Memphis Police Department). We are dedicated to all of
our animals. We only breed dogs with sound temperaments and great health. It
is very important to us that our dogs all go to good homes. They are never sold
to pet stores.
Our dogs are not to be used in dog fighting, any animal baiting
